FAQ

Q: Why do you have this FAQ page?

A: It is a place for us to provide quick answers for our visitors' most Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: What is hypnosis?

A: Hypnosis is the practice of putting onesself in a state of being that is similiar to the relaxation period before sleep, however the subject is in a super focused, hyper-attentive state. Within this state of being it is possible to work with the underlying challenges in one's life. When issues are dealt with on a sub-conscious level, the effect is non-traumatic as well as long lasting, giving us the ability to re-train our minds by replacing a negative, stressful belief with a positve one. While in this realm of consciousness it is possible to stop the endless chatter, allowing the subject to fully integrate with what is desired in the awake/conscious state. Hypnosis can be performed alone or with the assistance of a hypnotherapist.

Q: Can the hypnotherapist make me do anything I don't want to?

A: Often, this concern is expressed with the question, "Will I bark like a dog?" The short answer is, "Only if you want to." ALL hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The client is charge of each session. A person will not do anything that is against their nature or will, as the hidden observer is always watching.

Q: Why should I try hypnosis?

A: In a society where invasive medical practices and chemical treatment is increasingly used for more and more minor problems, hypnosis is a wonderful alternative. Hypnosis is a non-invasive, gentle, alternative using our given abilities to heal, grow, learn, relax, and enhance ourselves. The more hypnosis is practiced by an individual the stronger the results. Regular use of hypnosis affects every level of your being. Your breathing regularizes, you no longer react to situations, rather you respond. Your memory will improve. Many find their creativity enhanced. You will feel a stronger connection with yourself and the world as a whole. As you become more aware of yourself, you will become more aware of your health needs. Hypnosis is also a viable option for restlessness and sleep difficulties.
