Q: What is hypnosis?
A: It is the practice of acquiring a state of being that is similar to the state before sleep, however the subject is in a super focused, hyper-attentive state.In this state of being it is possible to work with the underlying challenges in one's life. When issues are dealt with on a subconscious level, it is non-traumatic and long lasting, providing us w/
the ability to re-train our minds by replacing a negative, stressful belief with a positive one. In this realm of consciousness the endless mind chatter is stopped, allowing the subject to fully integrate with what is desired in the awake/conscious state. Hypnosis can be performed alone or with the assistance of a hypnotherapist.
Q: Can I be made to do anything I don't want to?
A: Often, this concern is expressed with the question, "Will I bark like a dog?" The short answer is, "Only if you want to." ALL hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The client is charge of each session. A person will not do anything that is against their nature or will, as the hidden observer is always watching.
Q: Why should I try hypnosis?
A: Unlike prescription drugs and invasive medical practices there are no negative side-effects. Hypnosis is a wonderful alternative, being it is a non-invasive, gentle, treatment using our given abilities to heal, grow, learn, relax, and enhance ourselves. The more hypnosis is practiced by an individual the stronger the results. Your breathing regularizes, you begin to respond to situations rather than react from fear. Memory & sleep improves, creativity is enhanced,bringing a stronger connection with your spirit allowing you a deeper understanding of your health needs.
